The Trust's Commitment to Ending Racism

In June 2020 over 700 Twyford High School current and former students and parents signed a petition/open letter calling on the Trust to work to 'de-colonise' the school's curriculum and make clear its commitment to ending racism. In response, Executive Headteacher Dame Alice Hudson wrote a letter confirming the Trust's commitment to ending racism and highlighting what the Trust is already doing in this area at Twyford High School and other Trust schools (all share substantially the same curriculum) and further/ongoing work. The Trust's Equality Policy and Equality and Diversity Objectives and Action Plan summarise key aspects of the Trust's efforts to address all forms of inequality. The Policies can be viewed here.
